Klein Blue, a whole story...
Sixty years ago, the "Blue Klein", Yves Klein's chromatic quest, was deposited with the National Institute of Industrial Property. He is fascinated by pigment, pure, matte and luminous. With the help of a chemist, he manages to develop a medium that retracts by drying and allows the pure pigment to appear. His hypnotic blue works are currently present in all the major museums in the world. This powdery and magnetic overseas blue is dimensionless... blue; it's space! According to Yves Klein, blue associates itself with the sea and the sky, for him, this word is synonymous with freedom. The real strength of this color is that it is timeless and can marry with all styles.
In tribute to the artist, the iconic French painting brand Ressource created Yves Klein painting, inspired by the IKB (International Klein Blue). For Resource, painting is an art that must feed on culture and history. Technical know-how and research both in the material and in its visual rendering are common values between the artist and the brand that gave rise to this project. Based on Yves Klein's archives, the brand has developed this vibrant and bright shade. Like the other paintings in the Resource range, Yves Klein paint meets the most demanding European environmental standards.
When Klein Blue comes to life...
In this case, this blue, very intense and with a strong character, has been chosen to wake up this entrance. It seemed essential to us to make this place unique because it is not only a place of passage but also the central element of this house. By finding this blue punctually on walls and decorative elements, it makes it possible to highlight certain volumes of the room and give it a contemporary and contrasting appearance. The large mirror on the left greatly enlarges this interior and accentuates the spacious effect sought.
Spaces such as the seat created in the niche and office area have been specially designed to combine practicality, aesthetics and functional storage.
The touches of gold on the closet doors and behind the seat of the niche create architectural effects that give character to the space. The marble floor found in all the common rooms is a coating that brings a noble and prestigious style to this interior. The wooden panels, as well as the materials chosen for the doors, make it possible to bring these delicate warm and friendly notes that we like to find in our entrances!
Upon arrival in the room, touches of Klein blue color accompany the gaze and invite us to stroll through the different adjoining spaces; the master suite, the children's rooms and the living room: the living/dining room.
